In the past, water ships were needed to heat water.

The mould made it possible to place the vessel in the oven from above.

Nowadays, for example, they can be used as decorative plant containers or flower pots.

Enamelled water ships are rarer and were once considered to be of higher quality than pure bare metal water ships.
