On delivery, the chairs are restored, i.e. at least:

- ground

- stained

- waxed

You see different colours of the chairs, you also have the choice of how the chairs should be stained. The yellow version is stained in oak, the darker version in cherry.

The chairs are 2-3 decades old, they will NEVER look like new, they will have hickeys and lighter signs of use. At most they will have a satin sheen, which in my opinion is best.
