Wonderfully elegant Horgenglarus Chairs. Very rare models with elegantly curved backrest and centre strut.
The chairs were completely restored by us, i.e:
- ground
- stained and sealed
- Legs checked and repaired if necessary

There are 2-3 hours of work per chair, depending on what needs to be done.

It is important, and we are very proud of this, that there is no varnish on the chairs. They have been sanded, stained and sealed by hand.
The feeling when you run your hand over it is completely different. Much softer, extremely pleasant.
As the wood itself is coloured by the stain, the grain is also much more visible, which makes the chair appear more elegant.

Due to the many different shapes, it was much more time-consuming to restore the chairs. Sanding takes so much more time.

However, we have a relative target audience that has not necessarily ever bought antiques before. But today's zeitgeist is increasingly moving away from mass-produced items without soul and spirit and more towards time-honoured, handcrafted objects.

      This is where we come in. Because of their age, our clientele usually wants uncomplicated but timeless furniture. Slim and not bulky. Easy to combine with modern elements. Warm colours and quality material like oak or walnut. We buy our goods according to these aspects. If you like this selection, you should definitely visit us.

      I would like to sell dsa something, how exactly do I manage that?

      You will find all the information you need under the menu item "Purchase". We have to reject most of what is offered to us. We have a certain style that we would like to offer our customers, 90% of the offered goods do not fit into it. But maybe yours does, an enquiry costs nothing and will be answered in any case.

      Do I have to buy the goods if I don't like them?

      No, absolutely not. It is more important to us that you are satisfied. You would have to pay for the return shipment. However, we will organise it for you.

      Can I also reserve something without obligation?

      Of course. You can make a reservation via email, Whatsapp or by phone.

      We would like to rent something for a certain time, is that possible?

      Yes, contact us for this. We often rent to companies that set up film sets or to photographers.
