Simple vintage chair made of beech wood (80s-90s)
The chairs for 95 CHF are inexpensive, of high quality, several decades old and flawlessly crafted with old-school craftsmanship. They are perfect for e.g. adding different models to the table to achieve a unique warm atmosphere in the dining room.
They are usually only available in small quantities, so you should decide quickly.
The following work is carried out by us before dispatch so that you can enjoy every copy.
Check for stability
Due to their age, the chairs are usually a little wobbly on their legs. But you don't need to worry about this. We check each chair before dispatch and refurbish them by retightening the screws, replacing them or adding new ones. Nevertheless, certain models may have a little more "play" when you lean back and forth. However, this has no influence on the stability.
Cleaning
Also due to their age, the chairs are usually covered with a lot of dust. The chairs have usually experienced a lot and could tell stories that you never even dared to dream about. Of course, all chairs are dusted before delivery and polished up with high-quality and caring wax or oil. Our experience tells us which chair gets which treatment.
Glueing loose seating surfaces
Many chairs have a glued-on seat. After many decades, the glue logically no longer holds as it did on the first day. This can often be seen on the seat which has been glued to the frame underneath. We check if there are loose spots and add some fresh glue and let it dry for a day.
New high-quality felt glides on request
Felt glides protect your floor. It also muffles the sound when you put the chairs on the floor or move them back and forth, which makes it much more pleasant for your ears and general well-being in the dining room. We screw the felt glides into the legs for durability. This would cost an additional CHF 5 per chair.

However, we have a relative target audience that has not necessarily ever bought antiques before. We have a certain style that we would like to offer our customers, 90% of the offered goods do not fit into it. But maybe yours does, an enquiry costs nothing and will be answered in any case.
